DESCRIPTION:
RUPTIS is a semi-carbonic merlot. Whole bunches of grapes were placed in a stainless steel tank with 20% grape juice (to kickstart the fermentation and c02) and allowed to ferment for two weeks. After this we gently pressed the whole bunches.
BOUQUET:
Smokey, green pepper and red fruits.
PALATE:
Ripe red fruits like pomegranates and strawberries mix with some white pepper and salinity.
SERVING SUGGESTION:
Ideally served in a medium red wine glass like the burgundy style either lightly chilled or a room temperature.
I love this wine with grilled meats, light pasta dishes.
