The useful version

Clear before you order. Simple if something goes wrong.

This page is for consumer purchases of physical goods from the Shuette online shop. Trade orders use separately agreed terms. Our full Terms & Conditions remain the legal reference and your mandatory consumer rights are never reduced by this summary.

01

Wine delivery cost.

1–5 bottles €10 minimum The gross delivery amount will never be lower than €10.
6+ bottles Free Mix any Shuette wines. They count together.

Destination tax is calculated at checkout. That can make the delivery total higher than €10 in a country with a higher applicable VAT rate, but it will not reduce the 1–5 bottle charge below €10.

Any different charge for non-wine products or a special delivery service is shown before payment.

02

Where and when we deliver.

We deliver only to the countries and addresses offered by the checkout. If your country produces no delivery option, the website cannot accept that order. Contact us before paying if you need a trade, export or unusual delivery arrangement.

The available delivery estimate is shown during checkout or in your confirmation. Unless we agree another period with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the order is concluded.

Country missing at checkout?
Email contact@shuette.com before ordering. A manual or trade shipment may have different prices, taxes and import requirements.

03

Tax, customs and border charges.

Product pages initially show the French consumer price, including French VAT where applicable. Checkout recalculates tax for the delivery country and shows the product total, applicable tax and delivery charge before payment.

For destinations that impose import VAT, excise duty, customs duty, clearance costs, carrier administration fees or similar charges, those amounts are payable by the recipient unless checkout expressly says that a specific charge is included.

Shuette does not absorb or reimburse destination taxes, duties or related carrier charges. These can be collected by the carrier or local authority after checkout.

04

Receiving your order.

  • Provide a complete, accurate and accessible delivery address.
  • An adult who is legally permitted to receive alcohol in the destination country must be available.
  • If delivery fails because the address is wrong, incomplete or no eligible recipient is available, reasonable redelivery or return costs may be charged.
  • Risk passes to you or your nominated recipient when the parcel is physically received.

If tracking stops updating or the delivery estimate passes, email contact@shuette.com with the order number. We will investigate with the carrier. If the goods cannot be delivered, the available solution may include replacement or refund.

05

If you change your mind.

Consumers normally have 14 days from receipt to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase without giving a reason. If an order arrives in several parts, the period runs from receipt of the final item.

01Email an unambiguous withdrawal statement to contact@shuette.com, or use the model form in our terms.
02Return the goods within 14 days of telling us. We will confirm practical packing and delivery details.
03Keep proof of dispatch until the return and refund are complete.

You pay the direct return cost unless the product is damaged, faulty or incorrect. You are responsible for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to inspect the goods. Opened bottles cannot normally be resold and may have no remaining resale value.

The statutory right does not apply where a legal exception applies, including clearly personalised goods, rapidly deteriorating goods, or sealed health or hygiene goods opened after delivery.

06

Damaged, faulty or incorrect goods.

Check the parcel promptly. If it is damaged, incomplete or incorrect, email contact@shuette.com with your order number and clear photographs of the parcel, packaging and affected product.

Reporting visible transit damage within 48 hours helps us pursue the carrier, but reporting later does not remove your mandatory statutory rights. Depending on the issue, the solution may include replacement, price reduction, repair where appropriate, or refund.

A note on low-intervention wine.
Vintage variation, sediment, cloudiness and other characteristics inherent to this style are not automatically defects. If a bottle appears genuinely faulty, retain the bottle and contents and contact us so we can assess it properly.

07

How refunds work.

  • Refunds are made through the original payment method.
  • For a full valid withdrawal, we refund the relevant purchase price and the standard outbound delivery charge. Extra delivery upgrades are not refundable.
  • We process the refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, but may wait until the goods arrive or you provide evidence of return.
  • If Shuette cancels an order before dispatch, any amount already taken is refunded.
