It was a very hot and dry season, leading to concentrated fruit are balanced by appetising acidity. Loads of bubbles and a rich texture.
 
RUPTIS, 2024, Semi-Carbonic Merlot
Sour Cherry - Strawberry - Smokey 
 
A semi-carbonic merlot. Whole bunches of grapes were placed in a stainless steel tank with 20% grape juice (to kickstart the fermentation and c02) and allowed to ferment for two weeks. After this we gently pressed the whole bunches.

The wine is a bright, open and easy drinking bordeaux blend that has medium tannin and light spicy wood presence. 
Dark fruits like plum, black cherry and blackberry give way to brighter fruits like red currants for a long finish.
